Baking Time 20-25 minutes |
Oven Temperature 350° F |
Pan Size 10" x 15" jelly roll pan |
Brownies:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 can (16 ounces) chocolate syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Frosting:
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon milk
Drizzle:
1/4 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 teaspoons of Crisco shortening

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in chocolate syrup and vanilla. Add the flour and salt until blended. Pour into a greased 15"x10"x1" jelly roll pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
For the frosting, combine all ingredients, mixing well. Add a few more drops of milk if necessary for the proper consistency. Frost cooled brownies.
Melt the chocolate chips and shortening in a bowl in the microwave. Stir until smooth. Pour into a small ziplock bag. Cut a very small corner of the bag and squish the chocolate through the opening, drizzling over the peanut butter frosting.
Refrigerate before cutting into bars.
