Pumpkin Bread

1-2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
2 eggs
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 water
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans--optional
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, spices, salt and baking powder. In a small bowl, whisk the eggs, pumpkin, oil and water. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in nuts.
Pour into a greased 9"x5" loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 65-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack.
