1-1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup Butter Flavored Crisco
1 egg
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 tablespoons milk
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup flaked coconut
8 - snack size Mounds candy bars, chopped
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tablespoon Crisco shortening


Place brown sugar, shortening, milk and vanilla in a large bowl; beat at medium speed until well blended. Add egg; beat well. Combine flour and baking soda; gradually add to shortening mixture. Beat at low speed just until blended.
Add chopped Mounds candy bars and mini chocolate chips; fold into dough. Using large cookie scoop, place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 13-14 minutes. Let cool on cookie sheet for two minutes, move to a sheet of aluminum foil on counter top to finish cooling.
Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips and Crisco shortening in bowl in microwave. Stir until smooth. Dip cooled cookie into melted chocolate halfway. Let excess chocolate drip off; sprinkle with flaked coconut.
Makes approximately 3 dozen cookies.
