This tastes like a Hostess Ho Ho!
1 package chocolate cake mix

White layer:
3/4 cup white sugar
5 oz. evaporated milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 stick butter, softened
2/3 cup Crisco shortening
1/2 teaspoon salt

1 can chocolate frosting
Prepare the cake mix as directed. Bake in a 15 x 10 jelly roll pan at 350 degrees for approximately 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely.

For the white layer: blend sugar, milk and vanilla by electric mixer until creamy. Blend in butter, salt and shortening until fluffly. Spread on the cake. Place in the refrigerator for 45 minutes to set the topping. Soften chocolate frosting in microwave until fairly thin. Spread on top of the white topping. Bars keep best if refrigerated.
