1 tube Pillsbury Ready-made refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1-8 ounce cream cheese, softened
2 Granny Smith apples
1 Red Delicious apple
1 jar caramel topping
1/4 cup peanuts (regular or dry roasted)
Mix the cookie dough with flour. Press onto a pizza pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
Blend brown sugar, vanilla and cream cheese together. Spread onto cooled cookie. Core and slice apples. Dip apples into lemon juice or lemon-lime soda to prevent browning. Arrange apples on cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle nuts on top. Garnish with caramel topping.
Put apples, caramel topping and nuts on right before serving as the cookie dough has a tendency to become soggy.
