It tastes like a chicken potpie but with a Tater Tot crust!
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1-1/2 cups shredded cooked chicken
1 package frozen mixed vegetables
1/4 cup chopped fresh onion
1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 package frozen Tater Tots
In a large saucepan, combine the soup, milk and butter. Cook and stir over medium heat until heated through. Remove from the heat; stir in the chicken, mixed vegetables, onion and 1 cup cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer to a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Top with Tater Tots, placing on top in rows; sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Uncover; bake 5-10 minutes longer or until heated through.
