1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup old-fashioned oats
1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup miniature marshmallows
In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, shortening and sugars. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in the oats, chocolate chips and marshmallows.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 9-10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 1-2 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely.
Remember to grease the pans as the cookies will stick.
